My mission is to help you find a career you love
Lara is a certified professional coach specializing in guiding people through career transition and building side hustles that pave the way to a new reality. She has a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and also studied painting at Parsons School of Design. Lara’s education and background as an artist fuel her excitement for supporting people who are looking to transition in their careers.
Lara is passionate about her work because she knows what it’s like to feel stuck in a position that is exhausting and feels meaningless. She has been working various jobs since she was 14 years old and has always been on the look out for the ultimate passionate career. As she tried her hand at a hundred different trades, she turned to self help and business books to uncover her strengths and interests. Devouring the stories of other artists and entrepreneurs gave her the energy to continue searching for what truly lights her up. When she finally took the leap to launch her own business, Lara felt everything falling into place.
It was yet another big life transition that set her on the path to becoming a certified professional coach. Lara enrolled and graduated from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) program in 2017. Her focus was transitions and small business. She brings a fresh perspective to the purpose of work through her own transition experiences and her experience as an artist. Lara runs a unique program where personal transformation meets career passion.

Lara Buelow, CPC, ELI-MP, trained with the nationally-renowned coaching school iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), receiving her coaching certificate in 2017. Since that time she has helped dozens of professionals overcome burn out and the fear of change to create meaningful new career paths (and plan restorative exciting time off).
Lara has served as the Vice President of her BNI networking group while helping others grow their small businesses. She has also lead money mindset workshops and accountability programs.
In the roaring 20’s, Lara is looking forward to writing a refreshing life advice book about using reframing to increase your level of freedom and flexibility. As a certified professional life designer through the Design Lab at Stanford University, Lara loves using design thinking principles to help you re-design your life. The Designing Your Life team is focused on behavioral changes leading to better and more informed life decision making.
Lara lives with her husband, two daughters, and dog in Denver, CO. She is an avid traveler, an enthusiastic painter, and a self proclaimed self help junkie.
